- How I Became the Simon Cowell of Korean TV -
Now, this had happened several times in the past and usually, we’d go to a nearby school, watch 20 kids give a speech about their dream job (which is whatever their parents told them it should be), pick the best one, and call it a day. So, that is how I expected this afternoon to go. Boy was I mistaken…
Instead of pulling into a local school, I found myself on the 3rd floor of nearby business tower which looked suspiciously like a television studio. Silvia told me to follow her and all of sudden this happened…
OK, it wasn’t quite that awesome, and sadly Gene Wilder wasn’t there to make me taste some snozberries, but at least I didn’t get turned into a giant blueberry either.

I asked Silvia, “so… we’re going to be on TV then?” She replied in typical Korean fashion, “Of course, I thought you knew that.” Right, since no one tells me anything, I should have known, Okay!
“Will she ask them in English?” I queried.
“No, why would it be in English? Just answer question, OK?”
